Mary Noga | Artist at Mondoir

Born in Poland, Mary Noga spent her formative years on a farm, where dawn-to-dusk work instilled a lifelong sense of discipline and endurance. Living with dyslexia shaped her perception of the world, teaching her to interpret emotion and form through images rather than words. Traditional office life never aligned with her creative nature, and painting gradually became her true language of expression. After completing an art-focused high school in Inowrocław, she went on to study Literature and Geography at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, later earning a Master’s degree in Fine Arts under the mentorship of the late Professor Eugeniusz Geno Małkowski. Mary began her professional career at Triada Art Gallery, a respected private institution with more than three decades of history, where she developed a lasting respect for artists’ creative processes. In 2014, extensive travels through Istanbul, Athens, London, Amsterdam, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Ubud expanded her visual vocabulary and cultural perspective. In 2016 she chose Dubai as her base, where she continues to live to this day. Her transition to full-time painting marked a decisive turning point. Her debut works were sold at a charity auction hosted by Becky Anderson, a prominent journalist with CNN, followed by a soldout exhibition sponsored by the Accor Group. Her art has also been exhibited in Alserkal Cultural Foundation, The Ritz-Carlton DIFC, JW Marriott Marquis, and Address Montgomerie, Triada Art Gallery and the Mad Kat Art Gallery in USA. Mary Noga is known for her psychologically nuanced portrayals of women. Her canvases combine vivid chromatic contrasts with surrealist elements to explore the emotional and intellectual dimensions of femininity. Each work reflects her ongoing inquiry into the complexities of human perception and identity and a cultural fusion.
