Artist Statement

"After Representation" Collection 2026 This collection is the result of my exploration and reflection on the independent potential of the language of painting a place where painting is released from the task of representing the external world and enters an autonomous realm. In these artworks, non-representational abstraction is not the elimination of reality but the opening of new horizon for emotion and thought. For me, painting is a field of freedom; freedom from imagery, from fixed narratives, and from everything that confines the language of painting to representation. This freedom makes possible the emergence of structure that can only exist within painting itself independent of any external reference. Each artwork evolves through the act of painting, and meaning emerges through the encounter between the artwork and the viewer. "After Representation" is an invitation to experience painting directly; a space in which color, line, texture, rhythm, and movement are used not to describe objects but to create a world beyond.
