ANNA STRATIGOPOULOU | Artist at Mondoir

Nationality: Greek

Discipline: photography

Based in: ATHENS, GR

Biography

Anna Stratigopoulou is a Greek fine art photographer whose work explores identity, psychological vulnerability, and the emotional tension between control and liberation. Originally trained in photography, she creates staged portraiture that combines symbolic narratives with intimate human experience. Her recent projects include Soft Collapse, The Space Between Selves, and Unseen Motion.

Artist Statement

My work explores the invisible psychological states that shape human behaviour. Through staged portraiture and symbolic visual narratives, I investigate themes of desire, addiction, vulnerability, identity, and transformation. Rather than documenting reality, I construct emotionally charged scenes that invite viewers to reflect on their own inner experiences. I am interested in creating photographs that remain open to interpretation while maintaining a strong emotional impact.
