Biography

Alen Meštrović is a contemporary Croatian artist whose work explores the connection between reality, imagination, human emotions, and symbolic storytelling. Through original oil paintings on canvas, Meštrović combines elements of realism with abstract expression, creating atmospheric compositions that invite viewers into unique visual experiences. His artistic approach focuses on strong emotions, imaginative worlds, and meaningful symbols. Each artwork is carefully developed through layers of colour, texture, and expressive brushwork, resulting in original collectible pieces with their own visual identity. Every painting is handmade, signed by the artist, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Artist Statement

My goal is to create artworks that go beyond visual representation and become emotional experiences. I explore themes of discovery, human imagination, nature, dreams, and the unknown. By combining realistic elements with abstract environments, I create a space where viewers can find their own interpretations and personal connections. Art for me is a journey between what we see and what we feel.

Exhibitions

Throughout my artistic career, I have participated in several group exhibitions with my local art club, where I had the opportunity to present my work alongside other artists and engage with the public. In addition, my paintings have been exhibited in restaurants and other hospitality venues, allowing a wider audience to experience my art in welcoming, everyday environments. These exhibitions have helped me connect with collectors and art enthusiasts while continuing to develop my artistic career. I look forward to expanding my exhibition experience through international galleries, exhibitions, and collaborations in the future.
