Biography

I am a multidisciplinary 3D artist and University lecturer in UK, with a focused, creative and reliable individual with strong commitment and a passion for Art and education. Artist Statement

My work explores the relationship between place, memory, and cultural identity, shaped by my upbringing in the colourful South of France and my enduring fascination with Hollywood cinema from the 1950s through the 1980s. These two influences—the chromatic vibrancy of the Mediterranean and the poetic visual language and timeless glamour of film—form the foundation of my practice. Working within a traditional figurative approach, I am drawn to the expressive possibilities of colour, light, and atmosphere. I use these elements not only to depict the human figure, but also to evoke a sense of lived experience, where environment and emotion become inseparable. Existing between observation and memory, my paintings blend real and imagined spaces to create scenes that feel at once intimate, familiar, and timeless. At the heart of my work is an exploration of nostalgia and the enduring imprint of place. I am interested in the ways visual language can preserve cultural memory and how painting can reframe the past through a contemporary lens. Through this process, I seek to create images that resonate beyond their immediate context, inviting reflection on identity, heritage, and the passage of time.
