Return & Refund Policy

Mondoir Gallery (Mondoir, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates) is committed to your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when you buy original artworks, prints, editions, or gallery merchandise from mondoir.art.

Return Window

You may return any eligible artwork within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. The 14-day window begins on the date the courier confirms delivery to the address you provided at checkout. To initiate a return, contact us at gm@mondoir.art or +971 (0) 4 834 3296 with your order number before the 14-day window closes.

Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, returned artworks must be in their original condition, unframed if shipped unframed, with all original packaging, certificates of authenticity, and any accompanying documentation. Artworks that have been damaged, altered, restored, reframed, or installed are not eligible for return. Custom commissions, made-to-order prints, and personalised items are final sale and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or materially differ from the listing description.

How to Return an Artwork

  1. Email gm@mondoir.art within 14 days of delivery, including your order number, the artwork title, and the reason for return.
  2. We will reply within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number, the return shipping address, and packing instructions.
  3. Repack the artwork using the original crate or museum-grade equivalent. We can arrange a courier collection on request.
  4. Ship the artwork insured for its full purchase price. We strongly recommend using the same fine-art courier we used for the outbound shipment; we will provide the contact on request.

Return Shipping Costs

If the artwork arrived damaged, defective, materially different from the listing, or shipped in error, Mondoir covers all return shipping and insurance costs and arranges courier pickup at no charge. For returns based on buyer change of mind, the buyer is responsible for return shipping and insurance. Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable in change-of-mind cases.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned artwork, we will notify you by email within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Bank or card-issuer processing times may add a few additional days before funds appear in your account. Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge.

Damaged or Defective Artworks

Inspect every artwork upon delivery. If an artwork arrives damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the artwork itself before fully unpacking, and email gm@mondoir.art within 48 hours of delivery. Mondoir, in coordination with the shipping insurance carrier, will arrange a full refund or a like-for-like replacement at no cost to you.

Authenticity Guarantee

Every original artwork sold on Mondoir is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. If an independent expert later determines an artwork is not authentic as described, Mondoir will issue a full refund including all shipping costs in exchange for return of the artwork and the certificate.
