Faith Gaufo | Artist at Mondoir

Faith Gaufo is a UAE-based multifaceted artist and the creative force behind Casa Deseño (@casadeseno), where she brings together fine art and interior design sensibility. A self-taught artist, Faith developed her practice through dedicated study, observation, and a deep appreciation for art history and contemporary artists. Her journey began with watercolor as a child, evolving through acrylics and digital mediums, with oil painting becoming her primary and most expressive medium. Her work centres on figurative art, portraiture, flora and fauna, and still life—celebrating the human form and the natural world through a diverse range of techniques, including grisaille and traditional painting methods. Having transitioned from a corporate career, she committed fully to her artistic practice and founded Casa Deseño in 2023 as a sustainable art practice, pledging to plant a tree for every artwork sold. In 2024, Faith won the Grand Prize at the Kalayaan Fil Arts Guild Visual Arts Competition at the 126th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, Dubai World Trade Centre—an achievement that opened doors to exhibitions across the UAE. Her work is held in private collections in the UAE and internationally, and she continues to exhibit at prominent venues in Dubai. Her art draws inspiration from travel, human connection, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.
