Born in Damascus to a Syrian father and a Romanian mother. I am a self-taught artist and the founder of Romania’s first art gallery dedicated exclusively to digital art. My initial engagement with digital art began in 1998 through the use of Microsoft Paint, I continue to regard the original computer hardware as an important archival artifact. My first encounters with street art followed in 2002, when I began producing graffiti and tags in Damascus and Craiova. In the field of cryptoart, my practice became explicitly multidisciplinary in the first quarter of 2021, encompassing pixel art, digital collage, AI, glitch aesthetics, and photography.
