Party Boyz is a powerful manifestation of contemporary urban art and dark surrealism, deeply rooted in personal experience and the raw aesthetics of street culture. The painting depicts three neighborhood boys arriving at a party, holding a single contrasting balloon—a symbol of their good intentions. The heart of this work lies in its unique and intuitive creative process. The multi-faced figures were born from a crumpled sheet of paper that was carefully illuminated in the studio. By capturing the dramatic interplay of light and shadow cast by the physical folds, these distorted yet profoundly human faces organically emerged from the darkness. Rather than imposing predetermined forms, the artist allows the paper itself to reveal hidden characters, letting the medium guide the composition as the story gradually takes shape on the canvas. After the cracked, stone-like faces had taken shape, they were completed with unmistakable elements of street culture: the iconic three-striped tracksuit tops and a glowing crown necklace. The composition unfolds against a deep nocturnal background illuminated by a distant moon, perfectly capturing the atmosphere and energy of nightlife.
