Sweet Love III captures the innocence of a first infatuation. A boy and a girl face one another as silhouettes against a weathered urban wall. Their restrained posture and the space between them make the expectation and curiosity of the encounter all the more tangible. The sober black-and-white forms gain emotional meaning through small accents of colour, which act as symbols of feelings beginning to emerge. The rough wall represents the outside world, while their vulnerable gestures create a private, almost protected space. With Sweet Love III, I seek to preserve the moment when love has no history yet and exists entirely as possibility. The work recalls the purity of young emotion and the courage required to take a first step towards another person. Unique original artwork (1/1).
