The image is built up from crisp lines, rectangles, arcs and circles placed in various layers over one another. The forms look almost three-dimensional, as though rising out of the surface. There is a strong sense of construction and ordering, comparable to a floor plan, a machine or a modern city in cross-section.The use of colour is powerful and bright: warm yellow and red are brought into balance by cool blue and grey, with black and white accents that bring structure and calm.
