In this painting, I present a playful and rhythmic pattern reminiscent of folded paper or a mosaic of petals. The image is composed of repeating, almond-shaped elements that together form a tight geometric network. The white shapes lie like blossoms on a background of warm and fresh hues: green, yellow, orange, red, and earthy brown alternate in a harmonious rhythm. The diagonal effects of light and shadow give the whole a subtle depth, as if the surface has been gently pleated or folded. This gives the work a soft, almost textile-like appearance, despite the strict geometry. The color palette is cheerful and inviting, with a slightly retro feel that also evokes something childlike and innocent.
