In this painting, I present a tight, geometric universe that feels both playful and spacious. The image is composed of a grid of squares in bright, contrasting colors: yellow, green, blue, pink, orange, and earth tones. Each square appears three-dimensionally modeled, as if projecting forward or being pushed inward. This creates a relief-like effect, comparable to a mosaic of blocks or abstract architecture. A subtle cross-shaped opening forms in the center, where the planes converge and the depth is most strongly perceived. The surrounding squares bend and curve slightly, giving the whole an almost spherical, distorted perspective. As a result, the painting does not appear flat, but rather like an object under tension. The colors are carefully distributed: they create balance and rhythm, but also a dynamic tension between order and distortion.
