This large-scale head portrait reflects a convergence of cultures shaped by my life in Dubai, a place where East and West continuously meet. The face becomes more than a subject, it transforms into a terrain. A beautiful face is, for me, a map on which I draw the topography of my imagination. Western references my admiration for 19th-century architecture and windmills—intersect with Eastern influences, particularly the elegance and aesthetic discipline of geisha culture. These elements merge subtly, forming a unified visual language rather than distinct symbols. The portrait stands as a contemporary emblem of cultural dialogue, memory, and movement, where identity is constructed through layered histories and personal vision.
