"Still Life" emerged from a quiet moment of reflection, inspired by the warmth and simplicity of everyday objects. I wanted to capture the essence of home, where even the most ordinary items tell a story of comfort and nourishment. The vibrant orange of the squash and the earthy tones of the carrot and pottery evoke a sense of abundance and gratitude. In creating this piece, I layered rich, warm colors to bring the scene to life, contrasting them with the cool, muted background. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth, inviting viewers to linger and explore the textures and shapes. The composition is intentionally balanced, with each element contributing to a harmonious whole.
