This abstract painting is vibrant interplay of colors and shape. the canvas comes with dynamic energy as geometric and irregular forms overlap and intersect. The painting of the title celebrates the beauty and explore the delicate balance between order and disorder. The disparate element coexist harmoniously . Orange: represents warmth, passion, and creativity. Blue: symbolizes tranquility and depth. Pink: evokes playfulness and whimsy. Black: adds contrast and mystery. Yellow: radiates energy and optimism Green: signifies growth and balance. My painting inspiration from nature, but capturing its essence through abstract forms and vibrant colors. Reflect the energy and rhythm of city life with overlapping shapes and contrasting colors that mimic the constant movement of urban.
Why collect this work?
Broad colour fields establish a loose geometric structure, while serrated edges, drifting orange marks and dot clusters prevent that structure from settling into a stable order.
- The artist profile describes Manik Das’s practice as joining abstraction with an interest in human emotion. Here, the bodily title frames the composition’s competing shapes as fluctuating forces, though the visible evidence remains abstract rather than anatomical.
- In the photograph, a tall pink band anchors the centre as blue, turquoise and black forms press against it. Repeated circles imply counting or notation, while isolated leaf-like marks resist a fixed pattern.
- Catalogued as acrylic on canvas, the work uses opaque areas beside thinner-looking passages where directional strokes remain visible. Acrylic can support such sharp contrasts between flat coverage and visibly varied application, although the photograph cannot confirm surface texture.
- At 76.2 by 91.4 cm, this 2025 painting concentrates its stated theme of order and disorder into a readable test: whether repetition organizes the image or merely exposes further irregularity.
