Riding Forbidden Dreams is a bold, playful, and deeply personal statement about queer existence in Iran—where visibility can feel both magical and dangerous. In this artwork, a queer Iranian figure rides a vibrant pink horse through an open landscape under a vast sky. The exaggerated colors, glossy surfaces, and theatrical styling are intentionally surreal: they reflect the way queer people often create their own inner worlds when the real one refuses to fully accept them.
