Iranian Angel in Paradise is a dreamy tribute to Iranian beauty, mythology, and the poetic spirit of the Qajar era. In this artwork, I reimagined an Iranian man with a Qajar-inspired face and expression—soft, proud, and deeply human—placed in a heavenly landscape full of light, flowers, and calmness. One of the most important elements in this piece is the traditional Iranian “Lung” (LoonG) cloth, wrapped around the body like a flowing symbol of intimacy, tradition, and identity. Lung is a lightweight cotton fabric, often striped or patterned, historically used in Iran and neighboring regions as a wrap for the waist or body—especially in bathhouses, daily life, and warm climates. It represents simplicity, comfort, and a sense of cultural belonging. By combining angelic symbolism with Iranian visual heritage, this painting creates a space where masculinity, tenderness, and freedom can exist together—like a personal paradise.
