“Water and Bread” was born from a deep reflection on the essence that keeps us going. In creating this piece, I wanted to capture the essence of the simplest, yet most profound elements of life. The flowing form of the sculpture, made of silver-plated bronze, mirrors the gentle ripples of water, a symbol of nourishment and purity. In shaping these curves, I imagined the life-giving properties of water, its fluidity and grace. The solid base represents the bread and grounds the piece with a sense of stability and sustainability. This combination of fluidity and solidity speaks to the balance we seek in life, the harmony between our basic needs and the beauty that fills us.
