I see the year 2025 as a time of psychedelic trance in the dance of opposites. The ancient concept of the "monad", the unity of dualities such as, day and night, fire and water, good and evil, war and peace, freedom and slavery... This painting is my symbolist depiction of how these opposing forces coexist and balance each other. The swirling circle of black and red embodies tension and harmony. The dark black represents the night, the mystery and sometimes the shadows we carry within ourselves. In contrast, the vibrant red represents fire, passion and the blood that flows through the most intense moments of life. I wanted the colors to collide and mix, illustrating the constant mutual push and pull of life's contradictions. It is a reminder that in chaos there is order and in every end there is a beginning. This work is a tribute to the "Blood Wedding", the dance at the blood wedding that shapes our existence.
