"MARIAM" emerged from a deep well of emotion, a tribute to the complex interplay of sadness and strength that defines the human spirit. As I sculpted this piece, I envisioned a figure bowing under the weight of humility, yet radiating an undeniable resilience. This combination embodies the tension between vulnerability and fortitude. The gentle curve of the sculpture suggests a quiet introspection, a moment of solitude in a sea of bitterness. Yet, within this solitude lies a fierce independence, a strong will that refuses to be subdued. The reflective surface invites viewers to see themselves, to connect with their own depths of emotion and resilience.
