UnityBeak is a large scale public sculpture by FLY that explores how unity is physically and socially constructed. The work is built through an intensive, hands on process that transforms thousands of individual rubber ducks into a single monumental form. Each duck is placed intentionally, emphasizing repetition, patience, and accumulation as core elements of the creative act. What appears playful at first glance is the result of rigorous planning, engineering, and sustained manual labor. UnityBeak was commissioned by Lincoln Road and the City of Miami Beach as a public art installation designed to engage a broad and diverse audience.
