This artwork is from the artists Northern Lights collection. This collection is inspired by the artist's travels and experience of witnessing the awe-inspiring Northern Lights also known as the Aurora Borealis. To see this natural phenomenon, she traveled to the northernmost city in Norway. It required venturing far from city lights, standing in freezing temperatures, and waiting in the stillness of a dark February night. But when the lights finally appeared, the moment was magical—every bit of discomfort suddenly was irrelevant. Created with the various hues of the most vibrant colors of the Aurora, the works capture both the intensity of color and the serenity of the experience. For the artist, this journey became a powerful metaphor: a reflection of what it feels like to endure dark and turbulent times, holding onto hope and patiently waiting for a moment of light.
