Luminous is the second piece in the artist’s ongoing series as a tribute to the Northern Lights. This abstract artwork uses texture and coloured foil to depict the luminous ray of light shining across the sky when this natural phenomenon occurs. The fleeting rays of colour shooting across the dark charcoal grey expanse of sky serve as an apt reminder of glimmers of happiness and hope in one’s life – however fleeting they are still fantastic and to be cherished.
