“Keter” grew from my fascination with the private worlds we build from memory, ritual, and the objects we choose to keep close. I imagined a room where everyday life has loosened its rules, allowing furniture, portraits, flowers, and a watchful cat to gather like fragments of one restless mind. The title, meaning “crown,” suggests the invisible realm of thought that sits above and within us. I used acrylic, marker, and collage to create a surface that feels immediate and alive. Vivid greens and reds carry the heat of instinct, while deep blues offer moments of reflection. The tilted perspective and layered forms resist stillness, mirroring the way memories overlap, interrupt, and reshape one another. Patterned chairs stand like guardians or ancestors, while framed faces hint at the people and stories that quietly inhabit a home. The cat moves through this charged landscape with calm independence, becoming a guide between the familiar and the imagined. I hope “Keter” invites viewers to wander rather than search for a single answer. I want it to feel like entering a vivid recollection, where disorder becomes intimacy and every object holds the trace of a life.
