Colombine (2026) Inspired by the poetic world of Pierrot de la Lune and Colombine, this work revisits the timeless interplay between longing, seduction and the unattainable. Rooted in the theatrical tradition of the Commedia dell’arte, Colombine is spirited, independent and elusive, while Pierrot, the melancholy dreamer, remains captivated by a love that may never be returned. Belinda Frikh draws upon this romantic mythology to explore the codes of feminine beauty, transforming Colombine into a figure of mystery and quiet defiance. Neither a passive muse nor an object of desire, she remains entirely in command of her own story. Echoing the elegance of vintage fashion illustration and the theatrical sophistication of Art Deco, Colombine exists somewhere between fantasy and reality, innocence and seduction. Limited edition of 25 archival fine art prints, individually signed and numbered by the artist.
