"Dream Eye" is a journey into the depths of perception and emotion. The eye gazes out, not just at me, but at anyone who dares to meet its gaze, inviting them into a realm of energy and introspection. This piece was born from a desire to capture the unseen currents that flow between observer and observed, a silent dialogue that speaks volumes. In creating this work, I embraced a vibrant palette, letting colors bleed and merge in a dance of texture and form. The splashes of purples, blues, and greens are not just hues but expressions of the energy that pulses within and around us. The textured surface, layered and complex, mirrors the intricate web of emotions we navigate daily. I hope that "Dream Eye" becomes a mirror for viewers, reflecting their own thoughts and feelings. May it be a reminder of the invisible connections we share, urging us to look beyond the surface and into the soul of what truly matters.
Why collect this work?
A single sharply cropped eye survives amid broad colour fields and shard-like forms, making partial visibility the work’s central tension rather than presenting a coherent portrait.
