The purple promise by Zakia Almas Explore Mondoir Studio Medium: Acrylic on canvas Dimensions: 25 x 25 cm Year: 2026 Price: $100.00 USD Status: available A peaceful floral painting inspired by the beauty and softness of nature. The gentle purple tones and delicate flowers create a warm, dreamy feeling, bringing a little moment of calm and beauty into any space. Why collect this work?A small cottage is held between an oversized bank of flowers and broad horizontal bands of water, trees, and sky. This compression turns a peaceful landscape into a study of shelter set against abundant, almost engulfing growth. Almas describes her practice as centred on nature, light, and tranquil atmosphere. Here, that intention is carried less by realism than by clear shapes, saturated colour, and an orderly division of the scene. The photographed work shows clustered purple, pink, and white flower spikes filling nearly half the composition. Their repeated verticals surround the grey cottage, while the turquoise water and sky create strong horizontal pauses behind it.The documented acrylic medium permits opaque blocks of blue and green alongside small, distinct marks in the flowers, roof, and windows. This contrast makes the foreground feel active while keeping the distant landscape simplified. At 25 by 25 cm, the painting concentrates several landscape registers into a compact square. It is particularly useful for considering how shifts in scale can make cultivated shelter and unchecked vegetation appear both harmonious and delicately balanced.
