Biography

Vulcan is a mixed media artist whose practice moves across multiple visual identities and emotional states. His work began as an exploration of different mediums in a personal search for clarity, expression, and growth. While he considers his journey ongoing, each body of work reflects a step closer to understanding both self and subject. His art is deeply influenced by personal experiences with social anxiety, existing as a wallflower, everyday human interactions, and folklore. Through layered visuals and symbolism, he translates internal experiences into emotional narratives. Vulcan creates using AI tools alongside Procreate and Photoshop, blending technology with intuition. His work has been collected by Cozomo de’ Medici and Claire Silver, exhibited internationally, and recognized through multiple awards and selections.

Artist Statement

My work explores identity, vulnerability, memory, and the quiet tension between presence and invisibility. I’m interested in the emotional space of people who observe more than they speak, and how personal stories, folklore, and lived experiences shape who we become. Using mixed media and AI-assisted processes, I create layered images that feel fragmented yet intimate. The work reflects social anxiety, internal dialogue, and human connection, often sitting between realism and abstraction. I’m less interested in perfection and more focused on honesty, emotion, and the moments we carry quietly.
