Vanezuva | Artist at Mondoir

Vanezuva is an interdisciplinary artist and cultural researcher working across visual media, sound, and participatory systems. Her practice engages questions of power, extraction, technology, and lived experience, with particular attention to the Global South and diasporic contexts. Drawing on over fifteen years of experience in human rights education and community-centered cultural programming within museums, schools, and public institutions, she approaches art as a systems-based practice that considers access, authorship, and cultural value alongside form and content. Her work includes experimental films, sound-based projects, participatory platforms, and evolving digital works that integrate emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain. These tools serve an ongoing inquiry into how technical systems influence perception, memory, and agency, while prioritizing public access and shared authorship. Her work has been presented internationally through exhibitions, screenings, and research programs bridging art, technology, and social inquiry.
