In creating "The Whore of Galaxy," I wanted to explore the tension between the raw, tactile reality of our world and the boundless mystery of the cosmos. This piece emerged from my fascination with the idea of hidden universes lying just beneath the surface of our everyday existence. The rugged metallic textures you see are meant to evoke a sense of the earthly and the familiar, almost like the rough skin of our planet. It's a reminder of the tangible, sometimes harsh realities we navigate daily. Yet, peeking through this dense, textured surface is a glimpse into the infinite, a solitary astronaut suspended in the vastness of space. This figure represents the eternal human quest for discovery and the courage it takes to venture into the unknown.
