Part of my series "Front Raw Silence" exploring women who observe, choose, lead, and define their own visibility. Drawing influence from fashion imagery and cinematic framing, this collection examines the tension between visibility and concealment, portraying women who are powerful not through volume, but through presence. The practice focuses on minimal yet striking palettes, where color becomes structure and gaze becomes statement.
Why collect this work?
Red does not simply surround the sitter; it passes through the glasses, lips, and clothing, binding figure and ground while preventing the portrait from settling into naturalism.
