Artist Statement

SOOUAIEA’s work explores silence as a form of presence. Using mineral pigments, sumi ink, silver, and metallic layers, the works respond quietly to light, architecture, and perception. There is no narrative to follow and no fixed symbolism to decode. Each work exists as a quiet presence, allowing stillness, space, and subtle shifts of light to become part of the experience. The paintings are intended for refined environments where silence, contemplation, and spatial harmony can be felt rather than explained.
