"Floating Landscape" emerged from my fascination with the delicate balance between reality and imagination. I wanted to capture the feeling of being suspended in a dream, where landscapes defy the ordinary and invite exploration beyond the surface. In creating this piece, I layered vibrant blues and rich earth tones to evoke a sense of fluidity and warmth. The folded paper ground symbolizes the fragility and complexity of our perceptions, how easily they can shift and change. The haystacks, almost adrift, suggest a connection to the familiar, yet they float in an endless sky, challenging the viewer to reconsider their grounding.
