Why collect this work?
Two faces meet along a strong diagonal, while dense ornament nearly erases the space around them. The painting makes intimacy legible not through touch, but through suspended proximity and concentrated attention.
- Masri states that her practice centres emotion, morals and humanity. Here, that aim is carried by lowered eyelids, inclined heads and mirrored red lips rather than by a fully narrated scene.
