Life Is a Carnival is the first Mona Lisa I created and the foundational work of the entire series. It is the originating image from which subsequent paintings, objects, and reinterpretations emerged. In this piece, I use the mask as a symbol of the passage of time, shifting identity, and emotional protection. The vibrant background and expressive splashes create a constant tension between celebration and conflict, reflecting my view of the contemporary human experience. This work has been exhibited at Mondoir Gallery, Mavon Gallery, and at the ME Hotel by Meliá, and has not been offered for sale until now. Its entry into the market marks a pivotal moment in my artistic trajectory. It is a unique work of conceptual origin that defines the visual language of the series and represents an exceptional opportunity for collectors.
