Biography

I am a self-taught multidisciplinary artist from Nigeria, creating for over six years. For me, art is a sanctuary, a safe haven where the chaos of life fades away. It’s my space to simply be, finding peace and expressing emotions. My art reflects a vision of tranquility, love, and calmness. I strive to create a safe place for viewers, where they can connect and find solace. It’s a reminder of the serenity and beauty in the world, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find comfort. Through my work, I hope to share the peace I see, creating a good place for everyone to find harmony and joy. My style draws inspiration from a mix of artistic influences, especially cubism and abstraction. As a self-taught artist, I’ve developed my approach by closely observing the world around me paying attention to the little details, exploring different techniques, and constantly experimenting. It’s a process that keeps evolving, just like my creative journey.

Artist Statement

My art is a visual sanctuary. I create spaces where peace lives, where stillness is sacred, and the noise of the world fades away. Each piece I make is rooted in tranquility, a soft, glowing energy that invites viewers to slow down, breathe, and feel held. Many of my portraits celebrate the beauty of Black skin and presence, but all of my work, at its heart, is about serenity. About the quiet power of being. Whether through detailed realism or dreamlike softness, I shape each image to feel like home. My process is deeply intuitive, focused not on how I begin, but on what each piece becomes: a haven. A mirror. A moment of peace.
