The mother hen lunged to protect her chicks, and before I could react, I stumbled, fell, and quickly rose to run away frightened, surprised, yet unable to forget the encounter. Like a child drawn to fire or bright light, only to discover its power through heat, this experience became an early lesson about boundaries and respect. What began as innocent curiosity ended in understanding. This painting reflects on consequence, resilience, and growth, inviting viewers to remember the childhood moments that shaped their understanding of the world. Sometimes, our greatest lessons come from the simplest encounters with nature.
