"Exhaustion" emerged from a place of profound internal struggle. I was inspired by the relentless stretch of the mind, reaching out in every direction, yet feeling nothing. This painting captures that duality, where outward calm masks an internal chaos. The branches, painted in frenzied strokes of green and yellow, represent nerves surging outward, searching for something to cling to, yet finding only emptiness. As I layered the acrylics, I wanted to convey the sensation of being stretched beyond limits. The colors, once vibrant, begin to decay, much like leaves loosening from a weary tree. The dark web that gathers symbolizes the quiet heaviness that settles in, a tangle of thoughts dimming and rotting at the edges. Through this piece, I hope viewers sense the silent gravity that exhaustion imposes. It's an invitation to pause and recognize the weight we often carry invisibly. My wish is for you to feel the tension and release, and perhaps find a moment of understanding and empathy within its depths.
