Biography
Born on January 11, 1977, in Istanbul, I started my career as a digital artist in 2002. I continued as a creative manager and team leader in many agencies. Although I have been involved in global projects as a UX/UI Lead Designer managing branding and development processes for digital projects since 2010, I have always maintained my passion for art since childhood. I’ve always been a big fan of cosmic horror and science fiction movies. The idea of mixing these genres in my new work was always been in my mind. My main goal was to create a mix of fairytale-like atmosphere, alternate timelines and dimensions, horror atmosphere, sci-fi style, surrealism and maximalist art. 80s sci-fi/fantasy movies, adventure games, Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 game covers are the biggest inspirations of my artistic process.Artist Statement
I intend to make my pieces’ viewers uneasy and take them out of their comfort zone to shake their chairs slightly. I like to create visual and mental games in a supernatural dimension integrated with irrational perspectives, architecture and texture. So, as you peer into my art, remember this: true horror has a very unique kind of beauty that could crawl under your skin or, sometimes, find you in your own bed while you think that you are in Wonderland, in which lies the revelation of what it truly means to be human.Exhibitions
Over the past years, I have participated in international festivals, conferences, academic institutions, and cultural spaces, presenting both my work and ideas across platforms such as NFC Lisbon (2024–2025), NFT Summit Istanbul, Media Bar Camp, Hyoer Games Conference, and Innovation for Development. My practice includes the creation of immersive experiences like the escape room The Shores of Beyond, as well as inspirational talks such as The Ancient Art of Storytelling and The Ghosts in the Machine, where I explore artificial intelligence, NFT culture, and contemporary artistic expression. Alongside these public events, I have been invited to speak at institutions including the Embassy of Turkey in Lisbon, Bahçeşehir University, and Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, and to contribute as an NFT artist and inspirational speaker at Hub21 Bootcamp. I have also led online and in-person mentoring sessions and workshops for students, focusing on topics such as becoming an NFT artist, blockchain dynamics, creative resources, and the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence, design, and fine art. Through these exhibitions, talks, and educational initiatives, my work continues to exist at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and future-oriented artistic practice.Awards
