Why collect this work?Broad black and white fields divide the canvas without containing it: looping lines and repeated eyes, stars, crescents and biomorphic forms cross those boundaries, turning contrast into a restless visual system. Rivas states that bright colour and innocent themes serve his aim of giving viewers joy. Here, that intention is supported by buoyant primary colours, although the crowded composition also introduces friction and visual noise. The photograph shows small motifs distributed across a wide 180 by 95 cm format. Some resemble figures or celestial signs, but their shifting scale and interrupted outlines prevent them from settling into a single scene. The documented acrylic medium permits opaque colour blocks alongside thin, calligraphic marks and spatters. These contrasting applications make the image alternate between emblematic shapes and rapid graphic movement; the photograph cannot confirm the stated texture. The title, DREAM´S OF MIRÓ, explicitly frames the work through an art-historical name. Its value for interpretation lies in testing how borrowed-looking modernist signs are recombined into a contemporary, densely populated pictorial field.
