"The Mirror man" - is one part of the diptych 21st Century, a reflection on identity and perception in the modern world. This work presents the human being as a receptacle of collective memory and emotion. The figure's blue body becomes the sky filled with birds, planes, and fragments of nature while below, the shadows of destruction and memory smoulder in the background. The composition strikes a balance between fragility and monumentality. The bowed head evokes introspection, mourning, or quiet resilience a silent echo of the turbulence that defines our age.
