"Queen(Black)" emerged from my desire to explore the layers of identity and beauty. I was inspired by the resilience and grace that exist within us, often hidden beneath the surface. This piece speaks to the intricate tapestry of our inner worlds, where each flower represents a facet of our experiences and emotions. As I created this work, I chose vibrant florals to symbolize the strength and diversity that define us. The silhouettes, facing each other, embody a dialogue, an intimate conversation between past and present, self and society. The rich, dark background serves to highlight the vivid colors, suggesting that even in darkness, beauty can flourish. I hope viewers feel a connection to their own stories when they see this piece. It’s an invitation to reflect on the complexities within us all and to celebrate the unique beauty that each of us carries.
