In creating "Ali," I was inspired by the pure, unguarded joy that children often exude, a joy that seems to light up the world around them. This piece captures a fleeting moment of genuine happiness, a reminder of the simple pleasures that often go unnoticed in our busy lives. I used pencil to bring out the delicate nuances of expression, allowing the textures and shades to dance across the paper. The contrast of light and shadow plays a crucial role, highlighting the sparkle in Ali's eyes and the warmth of their smile. Each stroke was intentional, aiming to convey the innocence and vitality that Ali embodies.
